Privacy Policy
CrewConfirm is a calm crew-booking workspace for boutique wedding studios. This policy explains, in plain English, what data a studio stores in CrewConfirm, how we treat it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it honest and free of promises about things that don't exist yet.
Who this policy is for
There are two kinds of people in CrewConfirm: the studio (the wedding business that runs a workspace and its managers) and the crew (the freelancers a studio invites to cover a wedding). A studio is the owner of the data in its workspace. CrewConfirm runs the software on the studio's behalf.
What a studio stores
Inside a CrewConfirm workspace, a studio typically keeps:
- Events: the weddings the studio is staffing, with details like date, venue, and the role slots needed for the day.
- Role slots: the positions on each event (lead photographer, second shooter, videographer, assistant) and their accepted, waiting, or open status.
- A private crew roster: the studio's own list of freelancers it works with, including names, email addresses, and optional phone numbers.
- Wedding notes and documents: details about the day and files a studio chooses to attach, such as a photo schedule or a family photo list.
The crew roster is private to the studio
A studio's crew roster belongs to that studio and is visible only to that studio's managers. CrewConfirm is not a marketplace. There is no public crew directory, no shared talent pool, and no way for one studio to browse, search, or discover another studio's crew. We don't build a cross-studio profile of any freelancer.
How crew respond, with no accounts
When a studio invites a crew member to a role, CrewConfirm generates a private invite link for that role. The crew member opens the link and accepts or declines directly. They don't create an account or a password. An invite link is scoped to its own role: it never exposes another crew member's details or the studio's wedding documents.
How invite links are shared
CrewConfirm gives studios manual share tools. You can share invite links through copy, WhatsApp, or SMS handoff actions. Nothing is sent to your crew automatically. You share every invite link by hand. We don't message a studio's crew on the studio's behalf. The studio decides who to contact and presses send from its own apps.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data, and we don't share a studio's roster or events with other studios.
- We don't run third-party advertising networks or ad-targeting trackers in the workspace.
- We don't message a studio's crew automatically on the studio's behalf.
Service providers
Like most software, CrewConfirm relies on a small number of infrastructure providers (for example, hosting and database services) to run the product. These providers process data only to keep the service working, under their own commitments, and not for their own purposes. We keep this list small and purposeful.
Keeping data secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the data in a workspace. No online service can promise perfect security, so we won't pretend otherwise. We treat a studio's roster, events, and documents as private and handle them with care.
Getting your data out, and deletion
A studio can export its events, roles, and crew assignments to CSV at any time. If a studio leaves CrewConfirm and asks us to remove its workspace data, we'll do that within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain something.
Changes to this policy
As CrewConfirm grows, this policy may change. When it does, we'll update the date at the top. We'll keep the language plain and avoid claiming capabilities the product doesn't actually have.
